The last major assignment was the Proposal pitch which required a new innovation to solve an issue. Our group had the idea of creating a drone to help deliver COVID vaccines since their was a delivery shortage in different areas.

My group members consisted of Radiyah khan, Miguel Gonzalez, Kyara Valdez and Moazam Hussain.

The Problem and Solution are :

Problem: With the rise of the pandemic, the distribution of vaccines to all, is the number one priority. Only recently in the U.S. has vaccines been available for ages 16 and up. However, other countries like Canada and India don’t have enough resources to distribute vaccines effectively enough and are still in the process of administering the vaccine to the elderly.

Solution: Our group has come up with an innovation that consists of a drone that has cooler unit attached to it that can distribute vaccines effectively with minimal human contact involved. The cooler unit is used to keep vaccines at the correct temperature while being transported. This would firstly be used for local purposes in the U.S. but could be further expanded to accommodate countries that are having trouble delivering vaccines effectively.
